The blessed month of Ramadan is the most important month in the Islamic Calendar. It is the 9th month according to Islamic Calendar. In this sacred month, people fast from the dawn till the sunset by offering regular prayers (five times a day) and avoiding any kind of eatables or food. There are so many blessings and benefits in the Ramadan month that they cannot be counted.

As we all know, Fasting is among the five pillars of Islam. and if we avoid any of the five pillars we will be answerable on the Day of Judgment.

Door in Jannat:

Allah has specified one door in Jannat only for those who used to fast on the blessed month of Ramadan. The name of that special door is “Ar- Rayyan”.

The month of Ramadan, during which the Qur’an was revealed, guidance for mankind and clear proofs of the guidance and the criterion; and whoever of you is resident, let him fast the month. (2:183 Al-Quran)

When we talk about the blessings and importance of the month of Ramadan, they are countless. If people realize and recognize the importance of Ramadan, they wish they could have Ramadan as every month.

If a person fasts by knowing it as Fard to fast in this blessed month of Ramadan. and by expecting its Swab from ALLAH, his sins are forgiven. (Bukhari)

The main aim of fasting is not just to refrain from eating. but also to refrain from sins and bad habits. The main purpose should be to get righteousness and piety. Fasting is not all about the physical body but also about the spirit. Month of Quran

The great and the most important aspect on this blessed month of Ramadan is that it is the month of Quran. Quran is revealed on our Holy Prophet S.A.W in this sacred month.

Ramadan is the (month) in which the Qur’an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, also Clear (Signs) for guidance and the differentiation between bad and good. (2: 185 Al-Quran.)

So, In this blessed month of Ramadan, It is  the duty of every Muslim to understand the meaning of Quran. and try to learn it and follow its instructions. It brings peace and relaxation to our mind and we feel comfortable after reading this Glorious book.
