If one couldn’t offer a Fard or Wajib salah at a recommended time, it is said to have been rendered missed or Qaza Salah and must be offered later in the endorsed away.

For the people who have numerous years of Qaza Salah, there is an approach to pray them rapidly. You take after directions, have four exceptions, and have all Fards and Wajibs for a complete Salah. It will be ideal if you supplicate your Qaza salah as on the double. Indeed, even if you could pray one day for Qaza Salah consistently, which is just 20 rakahs (3 wajib witr), kindly do it. Per the accompanying directions, it just takes a couple of mins to perform 20 rakahs.

Directions to Perform Qaza Salah:

  • In Ruku and Sajdah, instead of reciting “Subhaana Rabbiyal Azeem” and “Subhaana Rabbiyal A’la” three times, say them only once. But make sure not to leave the Ruku poster until you properly articulate Azeem’s Meem (M). Similarly, do not leave the posture of Sajdah until Ala has been said ultimately. Just make sure to say these Tasbeehaat properly and do not rush.
  • In the third and four Rakah of Fard Salah, instead of reciting the whole Soorah, Fatiha says, “Subhan Allah” three times and goes to Ruku; make sure to recite “Subhan Allah” three times correctly, do not rush. This exception is only for Fard. In the third rakah of Witr, it’s a must to recite full Surah Fatiha followed by at least three ayahs of the Quran or a surah (as we usually do in the first and second rakah).
  • In the last Qaidah (when we sit for Attahyyat) before Salam, after Attahyyat, instead of full Durood and Dua, say, “Allah Humma Salle Ala Sayedena Mohammad Wa Aalihi,” then finish the Qaza Salah with Salam. Dua is not a must here.
  • In Witr, instead of full Dua-e-Qunoot, say “Rabbigh Fir Lee” one or three times.

One must perform qaza salah at home on the off chance it is conceivable. If this Salah is Qaza without reason, it is awkward to uncover this since this is wrongdoing.

Why is the concept of Qaza Salah not mentioned in the Quran?

The Quran does not apply to specify Qaza because it’s taken for blessed that Allah does not want to motivate you in any way to miss your prayers at the prescribed time (as much as possible). Yet if you miss a prayer or prayers for an unavoidable reason, not looking back and simply moving ahead to catch on with the following prayer is one method of taking care of your duty toward Allah. Offering your following prayer and then praying additionally (Qaza Salah) to make up for the missed one (or ones) is another way of fulfilling your duty toward Allah. Which of the two methods do you think Allah would prefer more? In my opinion, the second method of offering your obligatory prayers (if missed), as Qaza, defines a greater awareness of one’s sense of responsibility toward the Divine Power.

Every prayer we offer, whether on time or Qaza, constitutes our direct personal communication with Allah and is symbolic of our interest in getting close to Him. Allah has mentioned many times that He takes note of all things. The more we love Him, the greater will be our commitment to our prayers .. and the only step we can take to atone for a missed prayer is to offer it Qaza.
