When My servants ask you (Prophet Muhammad) concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every supplicant when he calls on Me. Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me, That they may walk in the right way.
[Quran 2:186]
SubhanAllah look deeply into the verse and try to understand its beauty.In many verses Allah says qul (say O Mohamamad) but look at this verse Allah has said directly ”I am indeed close”…How beautiful.Allah is addressing His slaves that He is very close to to them.
In sickness,pain,calamity,every condition when u ask Allah,He is always very close to u.Even closer to your aorta.See how much He loves His slaves.He always listens to our duas. And Allah should be sought. yet its really shameful how many people go to graves,darbars and etc.They commit shirk,when for the mushrikeen is the hell fire,in which they will abide forever.
Many people argue when you tell them that asking someone else to intercede for you in front of Allah is SHIRK. Why do they seek others to take their wishes to Allah?
And Allah should be sought.
Allah in this verse has directly addressed us to make us understand that there isn’t any barrier or third person him in our prayers.
Unfortunately its so difficult to make people understand this. How pathetic statements they make saying that they were Auliyaas (pious people). So hellfire can do this favor upon us to take our prayers to Allah WHEN THEY ARE DEAD! Why is it so hard to make them understand that present your duas to Allah alone, who is Ever living, Sublime. We can only make dua for them.
May Allah guide us all to the right path.
