How To Deal With Life:Financial issues, marital problems, educational performance, and job duties are so much to handle in this little life. But, of course, that’s the story of all of us; we all face such issues. But the question is, How do we deal with life? Or, to be exact,” how to address life troubles?” let me share with you a story that changed my life; One day a farmer’s donkey fell into a well. The poor animal cried piteously for hours like we do when we get trapped in problems of life. The farmer tried to figure out what to do and how to deal with the life of this donkey, but he came up with an opportunist solution. Keeping in view all the conditions that the animal was old and the well needed to cover up, it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something unique. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Moral of Story: Solution of life problems & How To Deal With LifeIf I have to sum it up in one line, I would say, ” If life is throwing lemons at you, make lemonade out of it.” Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! So shake it off and take a step up. Stop crying over ashes. Do not mourn for what is gone or lost; stop complaining about the scarcity of resources instead of thinking, “how can I build up my castle from the leftover?”. Instead, use your mind in finding ways to use the available leftover resources instead of worrying about what is not available or what you lost already.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
- Free your heart from hatred – Forgives and let your anger go.
- Free your mind from worries – Most never happen. Beat your depression, throw anger, stop thinking about negative thoughts.
- Live and appreciate what you have. Gratitude is the best attitude.
- Give more. True happiness is when you make others happy.
- Expect less from people but more from yourself.
