BELIEF is the biggest power of a Muslim and to create the DISBELIEF in Allah’s mercy is the largest trick of Shaytan against the power of Imaan and Muslim.

You know, there must be times when you commit a sin and repent later on and want to beg Allah(SWT) for forgiveness and to ask for Allah’s mercy. right then Shaytan (devil) indulges in your heart that how can I face Allah(SWT) in Salah after committing the sin. He won’t forgive me. SEE! Here is the trick of Shaytan. To make your disbelief in Allah;s mercy (SWT). Don’t let Shaytan trap you. Whenever you feel trapped by him then just remind yourself the following things:

Remember, Allah’s mercy overpowers his anger:

By Abu Huraira (Radhi-Allah-hu ‘anhu):The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa Sallam) said:

“When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne,”My Mercy overpowers My Anger.”[Sahih Bukhari – Book: 54. Beginning of Creation, Hadith:416]

Allah is merciful of all:

Allah is the Most Merciful, Most Compassionate. and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. His Mercy encompasses everything. Allah says ( meaning): y

“… and My Mercy embraces all things.” [7:156]

In Saheeh Muslim from Abu Hurayrah. The Prophet (PBUH) said:

“Allah has 100 parts of mercy, of which He sent down one between the jinn, humanity, the animals and the insects. Using which they are compassionate and merciful to one another. and using which animals are kind to their offspring. And Allah has kept back 99 parts of mercy with which to be merciful to His slaves of the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim, Al-Tawbah, 6908)

Allah loves you more than your mother:

‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

“Some prisoners were brought to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and there was a woman among the prisoners who was searching (for her child). When she found her child, she embraced him and put him to her breast. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to us, ‘Do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire?’ We said, ‘No, by Allah, not if she is able not to.’ The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, ‘Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this woman is to her child.’”  (Agreed upon)

Allah mercy

Allah’s door of repentance is wide open:

It’ never too late to get back to Allah and ask for forgiveness unless your last breath and you aim sincerely not to repeat the sin again.Allah (SWT) says:

“Do they not know that it is Allah Who accepts the repentance of His servants and receives (approves) their charity and that Allah is the Relenting, the Compassionate?” (At-Tawbah: 104)

“Say: ‘O My servants who wronged against their souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy! For Allah forgives all sins, for He is indeed Forgiving, Compassionate.’” (Az-Zumar: 53).

Prophet (PBUH) said,

“Allah accepts the repentance of His servant so long as death has not reached his collar bone.”

Hopefully, all mentioned above will help you to belief in Allah’s mercy and not let Shaytan trap you again. But remember one thing that if you ask for forgiveness and having an intention in your heart to repeat the sin again or you do a sin having in mind that you will ask for Allah’s forgiveness afterward; then it will be of no use. Allah says in Quran (meaning)

“Declare (O Muhammad) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful. And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment.” [15:49-50]

So from now on, make a resolution that whenever Shaytan whispers ou will not be forgiven in your ears that you will not be forgiven by Allah (SWT) for all your sins; just remind yourself that Allah LOVES to forgive and He is most Merciful of all.
