In the religion of Islam, belief in ALLAH is the single most important belief. Muslims believe in ALLAH, supreme and eternal, infinite and mighty, merciful and compassionate, creator and provider. There are many reasons why should we believe in Allah. I have not seen Allah but I still believe in Him. He is the God of all mankind, not of a special tribe. ALLAH is high and supreme, but He is very near to the pious thoughtful believers; He answers their prayers and helps them. He loves the people who love Him and forgives their sins. He gives them peace, happiness, knowledge, and success.
Believe in Oneness of Allah:
The most fundamental teaching of Islam is to believe in the oneness of GOD, in the sense of His being the only creator. So, One must knowledge the fact that it is God alone who deserves to be worshiped and thus refrain from worshiping any other thing or being. Muslims believe in ALLAH that has no father or mother, no son, or daughter. None is equal to Him. And He is God of all mankind. Believe in ALLAH is the base of all religions. So, The need to believe in ALLAH, to rely on Him, and to worship Him is inherent in the nature of man. That feeling was born together with man and continued in each period.
ALLAH subhana hu wa taala says:
“Say, ‘Why do you take protectors other than Him, who can neither benefit nor harm even themselves?’ Say, ‘Are the blind equal to those who can see? And are the depths of darkness equal to the light?’ Have the partners they assign to God created anything like His creation so that their creation is indistinguishable from His? Say, ‘God is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the All Compelling.’” (13:16)
Allah is creator of Universe:
ALLAH rights upon His creation are absolute. He is the sole creator and sustainer of the universe, the Almighty who created everything with wisdom, So the one who initiated every being from nothing.
Those who have been shown the light are very fortunate as their hearts and minds are very receptive to His words, and they eagerly accept the reality as it comes. This power of guidance lies with ALLAH alone as He says:
“Allah (SWT) guided whom He will to a path that is straight.”
(Surah al-Baqarah 2:213)
