Supplication has high power in it. Today let’s memorize the Prophetic prayers to protect ourselves and our families from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Supplication is the action of asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly.
While the state authorities are canceling lockdown and gradually reopening the countries, families are still fearing getting out in public with their children. The Corona Virus COVID-19 pandemic has made us anxious about our loved ones and especially those who are vulnerable. Though the past few months have been -overwhelming on various levels, we are still required to take our safety precautions.
“We will certainly test you with some fear and hunger, and some loss of possessions and lives and crops. But give good news to the steadfast. Those who, when a calamity afflicts them, say, “To God, we belong, and to Him, we will return.” (2:156-157)
The viral COVID-19 has come to remind us of how weak and fragile we are. After all the progress and power humans have gone through, a microscopic cell has turned our lives upside-down.
And what better time there is to turn our hearts back to Allah than now? He’s the one who promised to respond to our call upon Him.
وَقالَ رَبُّكُمُ اُدعُونِي أَستَجِب لَكُم
Your Lord has proclaimed, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you”
(Surah Ghafir, 40:60)
