Why is it always me? It could have any other person of world, why just me? Why am I always target of all the sufferings one could have! My business is  going down, i am not scoring grades good enough in class, i am ill , my job will be finished soon,  its not just first time i am always unlucky…!!!
These and a lot of similar questions come in our mind when we are in a hard time of our life, or we consider the current situation hard. We get worried or start cursing ourselves even if a thorn gets pricked in our feet accidentally. We start thinking as if we are the most unlucky and most ruined person of world , no one is more miserable then us.

Trust in Allah:

No sister/ brother no! This is not an attitude of a MUSLIM! A believer never curses his self or loses hope!while reciting KALIMAH ! We admit the supremacy of ALLAH almighty, we put our trust on HIM and consider HIM the only ONE who is worth worshiping. By this, we admit that HE is the writer of faith! And nothing of the good or bad coming to us is out of his command or wish!

“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad
tidings to as-Saabireen (the patient ones).
Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: “Inna lillaahiwa Inna IlaihiRaaji’un (Verily to Allah we belong and verily, to Him we shall return).”
They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are
those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones.” (2:155-157)

this beautiful ayah explains a lot of thing in one shot. It told that its confirmed that you will be tested, put into difficulty, you would have to bear hard ship , there will be a period of trail, hard time comes on every one,  but along with this news ALLAH subhanahuwatalla quickly tells gives a good news and also tells us what protocol should be followed while in period of trail or difficulty.
procedure a Muslim is recommended to follow in hardship is sabar, patience , forbearance, perseverance and constancy

“Be patient, for your patience is with the help of Allah.” (16:127)

“Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy.” (103:2-3)

“Oh you who believe! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer, for God is with those who patiently persevere.” (2:153)

Steadfastness In Patience/Sabar :

To be consistent in sabar and patience and try not to over look any rule of ALLAH and do nothing which displeases ALLAH is very important in period of difficulty. He might chose to put you in a very difficult situation for a very long time; so difficult that it is bad enough to cause a believer to lose his faith in Allah Almighty.  You have to always remember Allah Almighty knows your agony, and He knows that you are sincere.  You must stay together and never lose faith, and you must always be patient and seek Allah Almighty in Prayer.

And be steadfast in patience: For verily Allah will not suffer The reward of the righteous To perish.  (The Noble Quran, 11:115)”

Love from Allah:

ALLAH loves his believer so much, why ever would HE put him in difficulty ? but to test our faith and steadfastness on faith , its important to be put in trial and test, to gauge our emaan and strengthen it too. ALLAH verily knows our threshold, up to which we can bear any suffering or hardship, so he never exceeds it

On no soul does Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:)

“Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which You did lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us.  You are our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.”

And ALLAH tala promises in Qur’an that:

“Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.”
“Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.”
Qur’an 94:5-6

and when writer of the fate himself promises that HE is with the ones who are patient and have forbearance , who else we need on our side?  then what is left to worry about? All what we have to do in a hardship is to remember ALLAH, do sabar, be patient, maintain perseverance and seek help from him, as HE is the listener of all prayers.
Remember !patience or sabar is not just ability to wait for help of ALLAH but its ability to keep a good attitude while waiting .
